Location: Greater Noida/PAN India (Extensive Travel)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with direct prior experience in cooling tower manufacturing or cooling tower consultancy, to drive sales and market expansion of hydrocyclone and centrifuge separator systems used in cooling water and industrial process applications.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, strong existing relationships with cooling tower manufacturers, consultants, EPCs, and end users, and the capability to independently close business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales of hydrocyclone separators and centrifuge separators for:
1. Cooling towers & cooling water systems
2. HVAC & chilled water plants
3. Sugar mills, cement plants, power plants, and process industries
Develop new customers and projects through:
1. Cooling tower manufacturers
2. Cooling tower consultants & designers
3. EPC contractors and industrial end users
4. Generate and convert enquiries into confirmed orders
5. Consultant & OEM Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
1. Cooling tower OEMs
2. Cooling water consultants
3. HVAC consultants & MEP designers
4. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations
5. Get CBS Technologies’ products approved / specified in consultant drawings and BOQs
6. Techno-Commercial Management
7. Coordinate with internal engineering teams for technical proposals
8. Handle negotiations, pricing, and order finalization
9. Support customers during site visits, commissioning, and performance discussions
10. Market Intelligence
11. Monitor competitor offerings and pricing trends
12. Provide inputs for product improvements and new applications
13. Support exhibitions, seminars, and industry events related to cooling towers and HVAC
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
Experience (Must Have)
Minimum 5 years of experience in cooling tower manufacturing OR cooling tower consultancy
Proven exposure to:
1. Cooling water system design
2. Cooling tower hydraulics & solids separation challenges
3. HVAC / industrial cooling applications
4. Prior sales or business development experience in industrial equipment is essential
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering
(MBA in Marketing is an added advantage)
Skills & Competencies
1. Strong understanding of cooling tower systems and water quality challenges
2. Technical knowledge of hydrocyclone separators, filtration, or similar equipment
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
