Transformers Online Dryout System (TODOS)

Description: Our Transformer Online Dry-Out System is a specialized device designed to continuously remove moisture from the insulation materials (oil and paper) of transformers while they remain in operation. Moisture accumulation within transformers poses a significant risk to their performance, as it reduces the dielectric strength of the insulation, accelerates aging, and increases the likelihood of electrical failures such as arcing or short circuits. The dry-out system mitigates these risks by maintaining low moisture levels, extending the life of the transformer, and improving its reliability.

 

The Transformer Online Dry-Out System works by circulating transformer oil through a drying unit. The oil passes through a specialized filter that captures moisture without interrupting transformer operation. Once the moisture is removed, the dry oil is returned to the transformer. This process is repeated continuously or periodically, depending on the system’s settings, ensuring the insulation remains dry and the transformer operates efficiently.
